Printed Catalogs

Since the early days of printing, catalogs have been one of the most effective vehicles for selling products. Catalogs are typically printed in either black and white for more commercial goods or in 4 colors.

Due to the wide range of sizes and quantities and the specialized nature of the production equipment, having a broad selection of printers capable of producing an individual book helps to increase the quality and bring down the manufacturing cost.

Directories

Also known as telephone books, they are common across many large organizations and communities. Typically directories are printed with black ink on directory stock paper that is very thin and allows for very high page counts in minimal space and weight.

RJCO can produce your directory on 22.1# Directory Stock (typical of an official telephone book) all the way to heavier 70# offset used by many non-profit organizations and museums to list their membership.

Brochures

Brochures are typically smaller versions of a product catalog listing 8-48 pages of product information. Manufacturing details for brochures include page count and signature configuration, total printed quantity and mailing/distribution concerns.

For larger runs which will be mailed via the USPS, co-mailing can achieve significant cost savings while still delivering the printed piece within an agreed upon time window.

Technical Publications

Technical publications are typically high page count books much like a telephone directory but on heavier stock.

RJCO can cost effectively source the production of these publications and will typically price the books as a set allowing a consistent end product and simpler logistics.

Books

Unlike commercial printing, in book printing the finished piece is your final product. RJCO works with a number of book printers capable of producing your product in 1 to 4 colors.
